Dr Saleh has worked on developing manufacturing processes since 2009. His research expertise is primarily focused on multi-material manufacturing systems, which investigates the deposition of dissimilar materials to construct functional devices. This includes electronic, electromagnetic, energy harvesting and energy storage devices.
He has contributed to over 25 journal and conference publications and is regularly invited to deliver talks nationally and internationally on advances in various manufacturing processes. His research findings have received wide international media coverage regarding printed electronics.
Since 2013 he has been a committee member of the institution of physics (IOP) group - Printing and Graphics Science Group and is actively involved in conference and symposium management.
