Dr Lee joined the Future Manufacturing Processes Research Group at University of Leeds as a University Academic Fellow in April 2020.

His research interest includes materials engineering for manufacturing and fabrication of stretchable electronic devices as well as synthesis of nanomaterials.  Given the highly interdisciplinary nature of his research he has established diverse research backgrounds and expertise in nanoscale materials/devices engineering.

He has published 21 research papers in peer-reviewed journals (including widely known Advanced Materials, Energy and Environmental Science, Small and ACS Nano) in the fields of fabrication of stretchable/flexible transparent nano-electrodes for organic/inorganic solar cells, optimisation of manufacturing processes for flexible electronic devices and chemical/interfacial engineering of optoelectronic devices.
